Aman Adinew is an Ethiopian-American executive and entrepreneur whose career has moved between global corporations, institution building and specialty coffee at origin. After leadership roles with 3M, Northwest Airlines and DHL Express, he returned to Ethiopia and became the founding Chief Operating Officer of the Ethiopia Commodity Exchange, helping build systems that supported a more structured market for agricultural commodities, including coffee.

In 2011, Aman founded METAD Agricultural Development and helped develop it into a vertically integrated specialty-coffee enterprise working across farms, smallholder networks, processing, quality evaluation and export. METAD coffees have reached respected specialty buyers in North America, Europe and Asia.

Years of travel gave Aman another insight: people who cared deeply about coffee often surrendered their standards as soon as they left home. Portable machines existed. Great coffee existed. But the two were rarely designed as one complete relationship—from origin and equipment to education and replenishment.

KaffaGo is his answer: a producer-led portable coffee system shaped by Ethiopian heritage, global operating experience, rigorous product testing and a belief that better business should create value for customers and communities alike.
